But we hope you stick around. We’re just getting started at something pretty good.
San Juan Kayak Expeditions are not only citizens of the San Juan’s, but they have lived and kayaked these islands for more than 39 years! They are experts in the area and love to share their passion for their backyard with travelers from all over the world.
Founded in 1980 in Friday Harbor, they are the original sea kayaking outfitter in the San Juan Islands. With top quality equipment, knowledgeable guides, and top-notch customer service, travelers can look forward to an exciting visit to one of the most beautiful areas of the Pacific Northwest.
San Juan Kayak Expeditions puts their love of the region and its wildlife first, and they operate their tours with that in mind. On overnight camping trips, they put a large emphasis on low-impact camping. This means groups never exceed 10 guests, the campsites are cleaned prior to departure, and often left cleaner than when you arrived, and evening fires are kept small using only beach driftwood.
San Juan Kayak Expeditions always paddle to the KELP code (Kayak Education & Leadership Program) in order to protect marine wildlife. They provide incredible value to you, the traveler, by keeping their service quality high and their pricing affordable. Because they are a small operation, you can rest assured you’ll receive the best of the best in equipment, service, and experience.
Here’s your chance to travel to the San Juan Islands and see whales, sea lions, and other wildlife from the comfort of your kayak with experienced island paddlers and outdoor naturalists!
