Day 1: Quito Arrival Day (Nov 9)

Welcome to Ecuador! You will arrive in Quito, the capital city, and a mix of contemporary, Indigenous, and Spanish Colonial history.

Today there are no planned activities, so you will have an opportunity to check into the boutique hotel and take some time to explore the city.

Tonight you will enjoy an evening welcome meeting followed by dinner.

Day 2: San Cristobal Island (Nov 10)

Today you will board a short flight to San Cristobal Island.

Enjoy your first encounter with Sea Lions as you visit their local hangout and play, nap, and pose for your camera.

Watch the sun set before heading into town for dinner at a local restaurant. Tonight enjoy an evening photography presentation.

Day 3: San Cristobal Island (Nov 11)

Today you'll be introduced to the underwater world of the Galapagos. You'll take a morning boat ride to Kicker Rock or Isla Lobos.

On the way, you'll spot some of the many species of wildlife including blue-footed boobies, nesting frigate birds, pelicans, and sea lions.

Take a dip in the crystal clear seas and watch for manta rays, puffer fish, sea turtles, and chocolate chip starfish.

This afternoon, enjoy some free time for independent photography, followed by an evening photography presentation.

Day 4: Isabela Island (Nov 12)

Today you will visit the interpretation centre to gain a deeper understanding of the volcanic origins, ecosystems, cultural history, and conservation efforts in the Galapagos.

Take a short hike to Frigate Bird Hill where you'll get to photograph a mixed colony of Magnificent Frigate and Great Frigate Birds. Check out the stunning views of Charles Darwin Bay.

This afternoon, you'll travel by speedboat to Isabela Island, one of the most beautiful islands in the archipelago.

Tonight you'll enjoy an evening photography presentation.

Day 5: Isabela Island (Nov 13)

Travel by zodiac to Shark Alley, known for white-tip reef sharks. Take a short walk in the isolated inlet through an iguana nesting site where you can photograph marine iguanas.

Later, you will head to Santa Cruz Island, with time to explore the streets of Santa Cruz or organize your photos.
