Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for a cause on this 15-day adventure expedition with a big heart. Join like-minded travelers as you explore Kenya, give back to the community of Kibera, and embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trek of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Start your adventure off by visiting a local elephant orphanage, where you will have the opportunity to interact with baby elephants. You will also visit the Nairobi Giraffe Centre where you will be able to see these towering animals up close.
Later, you will visit the community of Kibera, Africa’s largest urban slum. Here, you will work with the organization Mirror of Hope, and have a chance to meet your sponser student and family. This experience includes the chance to learn how to cook a traditional Kenyan lunch.
The last week of your adventure will include a jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring trek of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is sure to be an adventure you will never forget!
